Carl has always been the guy who gets to do the fun jobs. Landing on aircraft carriers as a naval aviator, designing his own line of bikinis, or traveling the world to discover great rum are some of the highlights. Carl is the founder and editor of Coastlines & Tan Lines, a blog dedicated to life in the little latitudes. He often writes about rum and educates his readers about our beloved spirit. On any given week you may find him in the Caribbean filming videos about the history of rum, various distilleries or the culture and people from the islands that produce it. He has published his own book of photography, “Portraits of Our World” after a one year trip around the world. He also studied video production with The Travel Channel.
